A ray of light- Inspiration

When there was no supply of electricity, none around to talk to, looking deep into the candle, cool breeze coming in, all I could think of was sketching this one!! :-)
A wick embedded in a block of wax, gives so much of light. Adds a special warmth and charm to any event. Love them.

    Your new painting is very nice. When I read your explation I went to my childhood days.
    My place is of rich forest with 4months 24hours rainy season. In this season because of raining there is no electricity. With this darkness time we had "chumni"(its like candle)without seeing the faces of others,sound of raining,very special sweet and spicy foods. Now with ups and generators we lost these grateful moments. But I accept all the 'changes in life'.
    Your painting reminded all these memorable things. THANK YOU.
