Lord Ganesha, popularly worshiped as a remover of obstacles :) Painted him using a form of art called 'Tanjore Painting '. Took nearly three weeks.

 This technique involves many stages.

 Main specialty would be the usage of pure gold foil, precious stones called Jaipur stones or semi-precious stones for jewels.
Yet to get this frames ;)

Tried my hands on oil painting . Its so much fun! Can call it playing with colors.  Gifted this on a friend's B'day . Have no words to describe joy on her face :)

Don't let it show.. when on stage, never let it show.

that you tripped over or cracked a rib. .

 won't let it show till the show's over. . 

Betray no sign of pain..

because there is no dignity for suffering when shared . . .

no mercy for being weak.

no mercy here.

never let it show.

if you did then you dont deserve to be here.

Are you afraid?

Is that why you walk around with a plastered smile ?

even as your toe nails bleed?

why?

oh , to belong.

was it worth the effort?

pinched my cheeks and bit my lips to get the color desired

rehearsed my rehearsed smile and then walked through the door.

You are very brave !!

i often hear.

would you say the same if you stayed with me everyday?

and heard my screams?

would it still be such a pretty picture to watch me cry? not try? not fight?

and that i am not so brave everyday?

would you still want to admire me?

i think not.

That is why rehearsal space is always out of bounds.

 so Just turn up for the show .will you?

and I will never let it show.
